/ FAQ
How do I select a region to blur?

Click and drag directly on the image preview to draw a rectangle over the area you want to blur. You can draw multiple regions before applying the effect.

What is the difference between Gaussian blur and pixelate?

Gaussian blur smoothly blurs the region into unrecognisable smeared colours. Pixelate replaces the region with large solid blocks (the classic censored look). Both effectively hide identifiable information.

Can I blur multiple regions at once?

Yes. Draw as many rectangles as you need and click 'Apply blur' once. All regions are processed in a single pass.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The blur is applied in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.

What format is the output?

PNG. This preserves the full quality of the processed image without additional compression artefacts.
