What's the difference between Crop, Fit and Stretch?
Crop (cover) fills the whole target size and trims the overflow — no distortion. Fit (contain) scales the whole image inside the target and pads the empty space. Stretch forces the exact size and may distort the image.
What size should social posts be?
Use the presets: Instagram square 1080×1080, portrait 1080×1350, story/reel 1080×1920; YouTube thumbnail 1280×720; TikTok 1080×1920. Pick one and the tool sets the exact dimensions.
Can I keep the aspect ratio while resizing?
Yes — turn on 'Lock ratio' and changing the width updates the height (and vice versa) so the image isn't stretched.
