/ FAQ
What are Open Graph tags?

Open Graph (og:) meta tags tell social platforms how to display your page when it is shared. They control the title, description, image and URL that appear in link previews on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.

What image size is best for OG images?

1200×630 px is the recommended size for Open Graph images. Twitter/X prefers 1200×600 px. Using 1200×630 px works well across both platforms with minimal cropping.

Why is my title getting cut off?

Google typically shows around 60 characters for page titles. The counter next to the title field turns red once you exceed this limit — keep your title under 60 characters for best results in search.

Do I need both og: and twitter: tags?

Yes. Twitter/X has its own meta tag spec (twitter:*). If Twitter tags are absent, it falls back to og: tags, but having both ensures the best appearance on every platform.

Where do I put these meta tags?

Paste them inside the <head> element of your HTML page, or use your CMS's SEO settings field. In Next.js you can set them via the metadata export or generateMetadata function.
